HID Cutter Dredge Vessels Production Performance after 4 years
China Railway Group granted 4 dredge vessel orders with HID Shipyard, to work on the largest plain reservoirs in Asia, in 2019. 4 years after, the CCTV documentary "Memory of Big Water" conducted a field interview on the dredging and expansion project of the Suya Lake Reservoir.
The operation of HID
dredgers has achieved great success in the dredging and expansion
project of the largest artificial lake in Asia, "Suya Lake".
At
present, the dredging and expansion work of Suya Lake is nearing
completion. The whole dredging and expansion area is 96.7 square
kilometers, and the dredging and expansion capacity reaches 91.02
million square meters.
When completion of the
desilting project, it will become a large water conservancy project
integrating flood control, irrigation, power generation, aquaculture,
tourism, and other functions, which can guarantee the irrigation water
for 800000 mu of farmland along the line and downstream, effectively
improve the ecological environment of Suya Lake, and provide experience
for the desilting and expansion of large reservoirs.
