HID Shipyard Delivers Newly Developed 7000 m³/h Cutter Suction Dredger
Recently, a newly developed cutter suction dredger with a water flow capacity of 7000 m³/h, independently designed and manufactured by HID Shipyard, was successfully shipped and delivered to the client. This marks another significant technological achievement in HID’s high-performance dredging equipment portfolio.
The dredger features 1500 m³/h production capacity, a 5-kilometer discharge distance, and is equipped with a 500 kW cutter head. Powered by a 3600 HP diesel engine, the vessel ensures strong, stable, and continuous operation even under demanding dredging conditions.

To meet the requirements of high flow and long-distance discharge, HID’s engineering team redesigned the dredge pump with an upgraded flow system and enhanced channel structure. These improvements enable the vessel to maintain both ultra-large water flow and long pumping distance, greatly improving overall dredging efficiency.
This cutter suction dredger is especially suitable for large reservoirs, lakes, rivers, and navigational channels, providing a reliable and efficient solution for large-scale dredging and environmental cleanup projects.
The successful delivery once again demonstrates HID Shipyard’s strong R&D capability, advanced manufacturing standards, and commitment to providing high-performance dredging equipment for global clients.
