HID Shipyard Launches Compact 10-inch Cutter Suction Dredger in Xinjiang to Support Inland River Dredging

HID Shipyard has successfully launched a newly designed 10-inch Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) in Xinjiang, China, marking another milestone in delivering efficient and adaptable dredging solutions for inland waterway projects.


Engineered with a flexible and compact structure, this dredger is specifically tailored to meet the operational demands of river dredging and sand excavation in inland environments. Its optimized design ensures excellent maneuverability, stability, and consistent performance, even under constrained working conditions.

The dredger is capable of reaching a maximum dredging depth of 10 meters, with a flow capacity of 1,400 m³/h and a discharge distance of up to 1,000 meters. These capabilities make it highly suitable for river desilting, sediment removal, and channel maintenance, significantly improving waterway efficiency and supporting local resource development.
